Apartment Portimao Old Town

All good.

I loved the interior design and the big wraparound balcony. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms were great, and the kitchen had all the appliances. There’s a washing machine but no dryer; detergent, a clothes rack, and clothespins were supplied. It’s about 600m from the train station, and this was my first stay here. I almost don’t want to recommend it because I’m worried I won’t be able to book it next time.

The only thing that let the apartment down was the heating in the living and dining areas. One radiator didn’t work, and the other barely warmed the room. The bedrooms did have heating units. Aside from that, it was spacious, clean, newly furnished and nicely decorated, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms and lots of towels, sheets, and blankets.

There are three large rooms with double beds, plus a lounge with a sofa and armchairs and a dining room. I live on the ground floor, where there’s a grill you can use to cook meat right in the entryway. Inside, there are three toilets and showers, along with a TV, Wi-Fi, an ironing room, and separate storage for luggage and clothes. It’s very spacious and everything is up to par.
