The accommodation was beautiful and the location was great, though you’ll need a car. The local cleaning staff were very friendly, and everything else was fantastic, so five stars for them. Our disappointment was with Hostwise’s service: there were two of us staying for six days, and after three days we asked for one fresh towel. We were told that would cost 39 euros. Hostwise, what kind of washing powder are you using?

The pool was nice, and it’s pleasant to stay somewhere quiet near the donkeys. They can make some noise, which is to be expected, but I still thought the place was very nice.

The apartment has charm and the pool is nice, but the nearest supermarket or restaurant is a couple of miles away. The advert about the donkeys is misleading: they’re elsewhere, so don’t expect them to come by for a visit.

We came for a relaxing two-night stay for my wife’s birthday. We paid separately for breakfast, 10 EUR per person, but ended up leaving after the first night to find somewhere else to stay. The main problem was the water. It came out of the taps and shower yellow-brown (see photos). We messaged the host to ask about changing rooms and were told that wasn’t possible. In the morning, they said it was “safe” for showering. The color speaks for itself, and nothing was done, so we left on my wife’s birthday. Breakfast was a few slices of ham and cheese, stale bread, and two eggs. For 10 EUR each, I expected better. We could have bought a better breakfast at a nearby supermarket. The donkeys weren’t like they looked in the photos. They’re kept behind a fence at another property, and nobody explained how to see them. By chance we met someone who worked there and asked, and got a brief five-minute look through the fence. There was no visit arranged otherwise. Since we had to leave after one night, I felt a refund for the second night was fair, especially as we couldn’t shower properly and the property wasn’t meeting its requirements. I didn’t ask for the first night or breakfast to be refunded. Even after Booking.com customer service asked them to refund us, they refused. Booking.com gave me some credit instead. Avoid this place.
