The kids loved the two playgrounds and all the pools, and there's loads of space. The beach is gorgeous, and Miss Pasta on the resort is fab. We love this place. It's our second year back and we'll come again.

So relaxing! It's a peaceful holiday village with apartments, bungalows, and villas in traditional Portuguese style, surrounded by green spaces, flowers, and trees. There are three pools: one at the hotel, the Atlantic pool, and a smaller one among a group of houses. There are also three restaurants: the hotel one, where we didn't eat, Canico in a lovely cliffside spot, and the Atlantic pool restaurant, which is open in the afternoons. Everyone on staff we met was friendly and pleasant. Some might find the decor a bit dated, but we were fine with it.

The park is lovely and well maintained, with gardeners around every day. The supermarket is expensive, but handy for fresh bread. Miss Pasta does great pizza, and Canico restaurant at the beach has a magical setting and amazing food. We celebrated our honeymoon here in a villa with a private pool. The pool was great and clean, and someone came to clean it every week. The house was cleaned daily, with floors done and beds made, and we got fresh towels twice a week. The kitchen was well supplied, with a dishwasher and washing machine. We were very satisfied with the accommodation. The extra Ikea child chair cost us 15 euro a week, 30 for us, even though a new one costs 15 euro. I think that's far too much. The baby crib was free and clean. We'd definitely come back!

A great place for a family holiday, with a well-stocked supermarket and several child-friendly pools on site. It's also close to the beach.
