We had a nice view of the water and were close to the beach, boardwalks, good restaurants and other services during our three week stay. There was maintenance work around the pool when we arrived, with hoses, pumps and tools scattered about. We saw no progress while we were there. The path lighting by the pool was poor, and it felt dangerous to walk there after dark, so we moved some of the hoses and other tripping hazards out of the way ourselves.
I've stayed in lots of places in Alvor, and 103 Clubs Alvor Ria was by far the best. I was there in March, and it was spectacular, comfortable and felt like a real home from home. It's in the most beautiful spot in Alvor, and Martin McGettigan was so accommodating with the booking and follow up. Highly recommend.
You can look out over the sea and fishing boats, and the town's amenities are handy. It's a short walk to the beach, and the property also has its own pool, car park and underground garage.
I'm here for the second time, and it's been a very good choice again. The apartment is good, and the river and marina view is lovely.
This gated apartment complex is peaceful and quiet, with a small pool. It's close to the amenities, a short walk from the little harbour and about five minutes from the beach.
