The balcony was sheltered enough for us to sit outside and enjoy the sea breeze even in the rain. We also got up early for sunrises and the many birds. We spent four nights at Porto Martins Bay Apartments and wished we could stay longer. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, well supplied, and had a beautiful view over the water. Paulo was a terrific host, replying quickly whenever we asked for anything. There’s a good restaurant a short walk away, as well as a lovely seaside path for getting some exercise.

We’d definitely come back. The apartment was lovely, right by the sea, with wonderful views, and very clean. There are two restaurants within walking distance and a bathing pool just across the street. The hosts were very hospitable.

The view from the terrace was breathtaking, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was excellent too. We were surprised by how well the flat matched its AirBnB listing, and Paul made the stay especially easy. He gave us the information we needed, showed us around, and had great restaurant and tour suggestions. The compact kitchen had everything we needed. He went well beyond what we expected to make our 15 day stay comfortable and memorable. We’ll definitely return to the Bay Apartments.

We stayed for two weeks in April 2017, my wife, daughter and me. The hosts were always available and helpful, and we’d happily stay again. The ocean view was great, with the local cafe and restaurant just a short walk away. There was plenty of parking too.
