The noise was the one bad part of an otherwise good stay. We could hear people talking loudly, maybe having drinks, until 2am. It's a busy street, and every car going over the manhole cover made a sound.

Good restaurants are an easy walk away, and the apartment itself is in a great spot.

The beds were really comfortable, and everything was clean. We were also close to pretty much everything, so I highly recommend staying here.

The space was adequate, though there was a large mark on the rug. We could also hear background noise from the nearby square, which was outside the property's control. The bigger problem was the service and communication. I work in hospitality and was surprised by the attitude, especially since we chose the property because of its high rating. Our flight was delayed, so we didn't arrive until nearly midnight. After travelling all day, we then stood outside for almost half an hour because the door code wouldn't work. Staff said we'd entered it incorrectly too many times, which wasn't true. Eventually they gave us a new code, but only reluctantly, and didn't apologize for the wait. We emailed feedback later and didn't receive even an apology. We understand that cleaning wasn't included, but our request for fresh towels was ignored too. At checkout we asked about leaving our luggage and were sent to a nearby address. No one mentioned it was a paid storage service, which cost nearly 20 euros regardless of how many hours we needed it. I've changed my rating to one star after being accused of bribery. I would never do that, especially as someone who works in the industry. To be transparent, my email said, “If this matter is not resolved satisfactorily, we will consider leaving a detailed public review reflecting our experience.” Our booking was for three nights, not the two they claimed.
