The location is good, near many of Porto’s main streets, but the service at the lobby was poor and I won’t return or recommend this “villa.” The room wasn’t clean, with mold throughout, especially in the shower, and the sheets were dirty. There was no room service. A notice at the entrance said room cleaning happened every two days, but during my six-day stay the room was never cleaned. I asked at the lobby several times for fresh sheets and never got them.
Rafael at reception was lovely and helped me get my bearings in the city. The place is small, and its sign is easy to miss, but it was clean and nice.
The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable. I’d have preferred bigger pillows and lighter blankets. The location is very central.
We could leave our bags at a nearby office when we arrived and again when we left, so we could explore without carrying them around. The apartment was clean and well equipped, the location was excellent, and the staff were very friendly.
The woman who checked us in was friendly, but the service after that was awful. This isn’t really a hotel or an apartment, just a room with no service: no cleaning, fresh sheets or towels, or even more toilet paper. The TV didn’t work, and the bed and pillows were awful. It’s down a rather dangerous alley. Terrible, and nothing like the hotel the name suggests.
