The neighborhood has a lovely, distinctive feel, and the apartment is beautiful with everything you need. Nights are very quiet, making it a good base for Porto and the surrounding area. The old tram or bus 500 goes straight to the old town. The streets are narrow, so a small rental car is best. During the day, though, nearby construction can be noisy, and the terrace isn't usable until the work is finished.
