The welcome drink and complimentary lemon water in the lobby made for a relaxed arrival. This four-star hotel is in central Porto, beside City Hall, in a beautifully restored building that used to belong to a local football club. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout. Rooms are a moderate size, not especially spacious, but comfortable for a short visit. The decor feels both elegant and warm, and the soundproofing made for a quiet night's sleep. The shower was the one small letdown, as the water pressure was low. There aren't many extra amenities, but it had what we needed for a pleasant stay. We'd be very happy to come back on our next Porto trip.
10/10
The location made it easy to get around Porto, right in the center and close to everything. Our room was clean and well maintained, so the stay felt comfortable and relaxing. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and glad to help with anything we needed. Axis Porto Club Hotel exceeded my expectations, and I'd happily stay again and recommend it.
10/10
The buffet breakfast was hot, with lots of choice, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Rooms were clean and well equipped. It's right by the Porto sign and less than a five-minute walk from the metro from the airport, which cost 2.90 euros. I'd definitely recommend the place and stay again.

We were there for six nights and were so glad we chose this hotel. The staff were super friendly and attentive, and breakfast was nice too. It's really close to Trindade Station, so getting around by metro or bus was easy. I'm pretty sure we got upgraded to a suite.
10/10
We didn't eat at the hotel, though we did enjoy using the pleasant bar. The staff were extremely polite, friendly, and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. Our room had a good-sized, spotless bathroom and a spacious layout, with the bedroom separate from the lounge. The hotel is lovely, with modern decor, and we loved our stay. I'd highly recommend it.
