This place is overpriced and dirty, and the windows block none of the noise. If you want a relaxed night's sleep, this isn't the place. It's near a main road, with about 200 buses passing beneath the balcony and, of course, around 2,000 cars a day. It feels like sleeping in the street, and sometimes even the walls shake. The bathroom was disgusting. The landlady told me the apartment had central heating, but that wasn't true. She's a greedy old woman who's only interested in money, not her tenants' well-being. Dear reader, I hope this review helps you avoid choosing this place. Run!

It's a nice apartment, shared with up to 4 or 5 other guests, and the landlady was nice too. The location is perfect for exploring the city on foot. The rooms could be more spacious, though. I was there in Nov, and the whole apartment got a little chilly in winter because there was no heating system, only electric heaters with plugs. The rooms could also have been cleaned a bit better.

The balcony was a nice extra, and the kitchen was lovely. Our bedroom felt dated, though, and reaching the private bathroom meant crossing the corridor, which was inconvenient and hadn’t been mentioned when we booked. We spent three nights there and had a lot of trouble with mosquitoes even with the room barricaded. There was no real check-in: the cleaning lady handed us the keys around 11:00. We came back around 2:00 PM and didn’t see anyone after that, and we had to email our IDs.

The owner was always available if we needed anything, and the apartment was very clean. It’s thoughtfully stocked with little extras like liquor, coffee, tea, and cereals, along with a TV, refrigerator, and washing machine. The decor is lovely too. I’d happily come back, and the service was fantastic.
