The apartment was clean and roomy, with a kitchen, balcony, and Nespresso machine. The bathroom was on the small side but still fine, and the towels and bedding were clean. They also kept our luggage after check-out. Staff were really nice, though they only worked office hours, and there isn't a proper reception. Finding the entrance was a challenge. It was an unmarked door near a restaurant, and we needed help from the restaurant's waiter. Clearer instructions before check-in would have helped. The location is right in the city, a stone's throw from Clerigos Tower, with bars and clubs on the street and next block, so it's great if you like lively nightlife. The metro is about a 10-minute walk away.

The bed was so comfortable, and the staff were sweet and very helpful. The apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need. The location is the BEST, close to everything. I loved staying here.

The main downside for us was the very firm bed. I'd suggest the owner add a mattress topper rather than expect guests to bring one. We had a nice rooftop view from the first floor, and the coded entry for both the building and room was convenient since there was no key to lose. The rooms are big, with good kitchen facilities. The bathroom had what we needed, but felt small beside the rest of the space. The location is great, close to restaurants and an easy walk to the riverfront.

We'd book this hotel again if we return to Porto. It's in an amazing location, feels safe, and is clean and very comfortable. Communication with management was great too. The room we had could use some renovations, and that's the only reason we're giving four stars.
