Bonjoia Apartments

The apartments are nicer than the photos suggest. I've stayed more than once, and when I called directly, I got a cheaper price than on the platforms. It's a pleasant place on one of Porto's main roads, near TIC and Campanhã terminal. Even so, it's tucked away enough to be very quiet and restful.

The host was available and gave us helpful guidance. The house was in good condition and well located, with Campanhã station and services just a 10-minute walk away. It's close to central Porto and the tourist spots are 15 minutes away by car. 5✨, recommended. A good experience.

The owner was really helpful and explained how to get around on public transport. The apartment was cozy and very clean, and the kitchen had all the utensils we needed. We did hear quite a few footsteps from other apartments, though. Maybe our neighbors were noisy.

I stayed here in October 2021, and it was the worst experience I’ve had. The TV didn’t work, and I couldn’t sleep in the bedroom because it felt a little claustrophobic. The apartment also smelled really unpleasant, like mold, and there were no windows to air it out.
