Cactus Quiet Apart Great View Balcony

We spent New Year’s Eve at ABC Hotel Porto and had a very pleasant stay. Campanhã train station is right next door, making it easy to arrive, leave, or take day trips. The room was clean, quiet, and well maintained, and the staff made us feel very welcome with how friendly they were. Breakfast was a highlight, with a good range of high-quality options. They even had sparkling wine, which made the morning feel special.

The noise made it hard to rest. Even with a thick, solid door, sounds carried clearly from all directions, and it was difficult to tell where they were coming from. It seemed to be other guests causing it, but the hotel should still address the issue. Enforcing quiet hours more firmly or taking other steps to reduce noise would improve the stay. The building and rooms were modern, very clean, and well maintained. Getting around from the location was easy, and the staff were friendly, approachable, and keen to help. The hotel offers very good value and otherwise left a positive impression.

We picked this hotel for its price and location during a few days in Porto on a business trip, and it ended up exceeding our expectations. It was fancy, clean, and comfortable, with modern rooms that had everything we needed. The staff were professional and friendly, the service was great, and breakfast was excellent. We’ll definitely choose it again. Highly recommended!

Everything looked fresh and was clean and in good order. It’s a brand-new hotel, opened in summer 2025, about a five-minute walk from Campagna train station. On arrival they gave us a free glass of port, and there was complimentary chocolate and coffee in the room, along with a kettle and other modern comforts. It was incredible this year, and I’d happily return, though I wonder if it’ll still have the same impact after a year. The buffet breakfast was average. I’d save the €13 and find a local cafe.
