The city center’s local character seems to be giving way to tourist rentals run online, with little personal contact. Rents are shooting up, and signs of everyday local life are disappearing. Porto’s new tourism model is something to think about. The place had striking design, decent quality, and was very clean, but I’m still unsure whether it’s worth it. About the property owner or manager’s response: the booking may not even have been under my name, so they should keep those unfortunate remarks to themselves. I also expect my views on both the stay and the tourism model to be respected. Their comments are just a personal opinion, and that only reinforces mine. Think before writing. Maybe being Community Manager is too much for you, like your mouth.
