Ceuta Terrace Suites

The room was spacious enough for a family, clean, modern, beautifully decorated, and soundproof. There’s a fridge and safe in the room, and the staff were very friendly. Reception is on the 5th floor. The hotel is really central, under a 10-minute walk from São Bento train station, with cafes and restaurants close by. Breakfast was simple, just bread, jam, ham, and yogurt. I highly recommend it and would stay here again when I return to Porto.

Our car was towed after we followed the parking advice we were given on arrival. The woman at reception said street parking in front of the hotel was fine and made it sound like our choice, so that's where we left it. The room problems kept piling up. The shower drain was blocked and leaked, flooding the bathroom each time, so we had to ask for towels. They couldn't fix it. On the second night, we found water leaking from the ceiling. They already seemed to know about it, since there was a towel behind the curtains. For the last night, they moved us to a room for my three kids, but we lost electricity there and it never came back. The worst experience ever.

We always looked forward to getting back to our room at night. It was kept exceptionally tidy and well maintained, and the location, friendly staff, and service were all great.

We were generally pleased with the junior suite. The rooms and bathroom were nice and clean, and the location was good. The bed was hard, so this place may not suit you if you prefer a soft one. Breakfast was okay, though there were no gluten-free options. To me, it felt more like a good three-star hotel than a four-star one.
