LSA Príncipe Real by Numa

This is a very nice apartment in central Lisbon. The kiosk made check-in easy, though I had to chase them for the access codes that were supposed to arrive by email 48 hours before we got there.

I only got to stay one night, which was a shame because I could happily have stayed much longer. I’ll definitely come back. The front desk staff were friendly and really helpful. My room, Principe Real, was spotless and a very good size for just me. I didn’t use the kitchen during that short stay, but it was nice to see what would be available next time. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and a decent size. I can’t fault the stay.

The neighborhood is quiet, and there are plenty of attractions within walking distance. There are restaurants downstairs and a large supermarket about a ten-minute walk away. The room was very clean, with infrastructure and facilities up to hotel standards. The air conditioning worked especially well, and the bathroom and kitchen fittings were good quality. There was a full set of tableware, salt and sugar, welcome cookies, and water. The staff were all working hard and are the hotel’s pride.

The bed was comfortable, there was enough room to spread out our things, and the Wi-Fi worked reliably. The location suited us too, between Bairro alto and the lower city centre, and getting in with the access codes was easy. The sofa bed was uncomfortable to sit on, and all the lamp switches were confusing. On arrival, I also felt the cleaning hadn’t been thorough. The bathroom could use some maintenance and updating.
