The pillows were incredibly uncomfortable, and there was no air conditioning or heating. They do provide a fan for hot weather and a radiator for cold, which is useful to know if you're visiting in winter. We were told towel changes cost extra. Since we were staying four days, I thought changing them at least once during that time was reasonable, so the extra charge didn't sit right with me. The stairs also weren't cleaned very well, and carrying our luggage up to the third floor was a hassle. I wouldn't recommend it.

The location is perfect, only a five-minute walk from São Bento. But these apartments are really just somewhere to sleep. Some have no exterior window and instead face an inner courtyard with a huge restaurant exhaust pipe, something they don't mention. There's very little natural light.

We booked four nights and left after just one. The apartment had no window, only an opening onto a shaft in the middle of the building. It was reasonably clean, but there was a lot of mold in the shower cabin, and the shower was hanging very loosely on a wall with serious moisture damage.

The location of the apartments is very good, but the cleaning left a lot to be desired, especially in the bathroom. It looked new but was completely neglected. The cleaning staff were noisy and rude, shouting and running up and down the stairs constantly.
