Clerigos H Apartments

The apartment was quiet and very clean, right where we wanted to be. Our host kept in touch throughout, both before and during the trip. Highly recommend!

The owner was so friendly, polite, and welcoming. The apartment itself is really well equipped for a short or medium stay, and the quality is great. We were four and had plenty of room, with space for up to six using the sofa bed. It’s a duplex: downstairs there’s a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living room, while upstairs has another bedroom and private bathroom. The spot beside Clérigos Tower is hard to beat. I only wish I’d managed to take clearer photos.

We found the manager very helpful. He welcomed us with a bottle of port, talked us through everything, and was always ready to help. The duplex is comfortable, and while the kitchen area is small, it’s enough to make a quick meal. It’s right by Clérigos Tower in the upper part of the city, so the location is very central.

Elisio, the owner, made our stay special. He greeted us with terrycloth slippers and left coffee, tea, biscuits, and jams for breakfast. We had rented the pretty, practical two-floor duplex with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It’s also in a great spot for getting around on foot.
