The rooms were small, clean, and well equipped, and the bathrooms were small but clean too. The central location is great, though street musicians across the road played loudly until 10 pm. Getting to the rooms means climbing stairs: first two levels straight up from the shops, then another two levels for some rooms. There’s no lift. It might be fine for younger guests, but as I’m nearing 70, I found it a bit difficult.

The location is handy, right on the main shopping avenue, and the rooms are spacious. Still, the place feels somewhere between a hostel and a hotel, and the rooms weren’t especially clean or attractive. Breakfast was poor, with very limited options. There are lots of stairs and no proper accessibility accommodations, so it isn’t suitable for people with access needs.

When easyJet cancelled my flight, I had to book somewhere at the last minute. The team were patient and really helpful while I sorted things out during a stressful time. The room was comfortable and the location is brilliant. Rooms facing the front may be noisy because of the street, so keep that in mind if you want quiet. It was a great experience.

Everything was really nice, from the people to the breakfast and location. The rooms had a good feel and were tidy and practical, and the price felt fair for the service. My only small gripes were the shower pressure and the terrace view from my room, which looked onto the courtyard between buildings. I’m guessing the water pressure isn’t something they can control.
