We stayed for just under a week and had a great time. It’s a fun place to explore and walk around, with a pool, cafe, and lounge for people looking for a sociable stay. I didn’t get to use the pool, but the rooms were comfortable, especially the mattress, and the kitchen had basic equipment. It’s within walking distance of Campanha train station, handy for taking trains elsewhere in Portugal, and public transport gets you to the airport in under 40 minutes. I’d read some reviews elsewhere saying staff could be unavailable, distracted, or terse, but that wasn’t my experience at all. Every interaction showed how dedicated they are to giving a high level of service. They made our stay truly enjoyable. Great for anyone wanting to explore the city and fit in some remote work.

The hotel/hostel, or something in between, has a really fun vibe and there are positive feelings everywhere you look. We wanted somewhere social with a pool, cafe, and lounge, and this was perfect. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our room was nice, and I loved the really strong shower pressure. It was fun to look around and walk through the place. This was easily the best place we stayed during weeks of travel. Highly recommend, and we’ll come back!

The birthday muffin was a lovely surprise. The receptionist noticed I was celebrating and arranged to have it brought to my room. It made my day, and felt like a genuinely caring gesture. Our room at Jam Hotel Porto was modern, thoughtfully laid out, and in almost-new condition. It was kept spotless, so it was always comfortable to return to after exploring the city. The whole stay felt welcoming from the start, and I'd gladly come back.

The staff deserve a special mention. There was a misunderstanding about our garage parking spot, but the man at reception sorted it out quickly and efficiently. The hotel is right beside the metro, which made getting around easy. Our room was clean and quiet, with a comfortable bed and basic amenities, and breakfast was satisfactory. It was a little dark, though, and the bathroom could use more towel hooks since there was nowhere to hang one.
