I'm not even finished with my stay, but I'm already giving it five stars because of the host's hospitality and personal service. There may be a few issues here and there, but his simple, positive nature makes up for them.

The garden was lovely, the rooms were tidy and clean, and it was easy to get around from the hotel. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. One of the best hotels I've stayed in. I loved it and strongly recommend it to everyone. Thanks.

The location worked well, about a mile and a half from the train station and not far from the metro. Staff made an effort to help. There’s a charming, unusual garden at the back where you can have breakfast, which was okay.

The breakfast and location were good, but housekeeping was a mess. We arrived at 4, two hours after check-in time, and the previous guests' room hadn't even been cleaned. A man told us to come back at 6. The next day we returned at 2 after being out all morning. The beds had been stripped and left that way. We waited an hour, but no one remade them. The man was outside smoking, and the bedding was finally put back around 3:30. Then, after we went out that evening, staff came in and removed it again. Why change the bedding at 6pm, twice in one day? They need a do not disturb sign.

About a 10-minute walk to Porto's attractions, and the place is so nice. The rooms are clean and the service is wonderful. It deserves 10 stars, highly recommended.
