The location was good, but the rooms were badly maintained and smelled that way too. The clerk never gave us the check-in details for the electronic code, then was needlessly arrogant on the phone when we asked about it. That poor attitude matched the poor room. I recommend that educated people stay somewhere else.

The rooms are charming, with terraces and a lovely look throughout. There’s no receptionist, though. Entry is through automatic doors using a password.

We had a comfortable stay, with everything we needed and beds that were comfortable enough. The apartment wasn’t new or especially impressive, but it was perfectly adequate. Its central location was handy, and the drive from the airport took around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Having parking for four cars was a real help, especially with roadworks outside when we arrived.

The house itself is lovely, and the self check-in and checkout went smoothly. We appreciated being close to the metro, though there was a lot of noise from construction along the avenue. With temperatures at 30 degrees, air conditioning would have been nice, but we managed.

The building is beautiful and the decor gives it a peaceful feel, a welcome break after being out on the street. I was glad the bus stop is right outside for convenience, though it does mean people gather just beyond the front gate. The only issue I noticed was sandy flooring, so I’m guessing it hadn’t been swept very well. Everything else was fine.
