Malmerendas Boutique Lodging

A real gem, with gorgeous furniture, high ceilings, and very helpful staff. The location is great too. 10/10!!!

The staff were warm and welcoming, and really made sure we were comfortable and had a memorable stay. I was here recently with my husband and parents, and we had a wonderful time. It's a special little boutique hotel in Porto, with beautifully furnished rooms. They have such great taste, I was envious of the furniture!

The rooms are cute, and the staff were great and helpful. Breakfast seemed thoughtfully made, too. It's a really nice small hotel, better than some other places in the neighborhood. I'd visit again, and recommend checking it out.

The courtyard is nice, but opening the balcony doors at the back brought in nothing but smoke from people below. If you're sensitive to smoke, you simply can't open them. The room was small, which might have been fine if it were clean, but it was filthy. The carpet was stained, the bathroom floor looked like it had never been washed, and the walls were very dirty. Even coffee and tea cost extra, which is absurd. Check-in was OK, though they didn't explain much. I'd been excited to stay because of the great reviews, but our experience was completely different and very disappointing.
