Nabaixa Apartments

The ground-floor apartment was okay and well equipped, with a fridge, hair dryer, TV, and cooking facilities. The shower worked great, but the bed could be better. WiFi was almost nonexistent, which made planning things to do in Porto difficult. That's why I give it three stars, though it would have been four with better WiFi. Keyless entry by code was easy, and the host replied to questions by email. Street parking is easy to find but limited to two hours max, at 0,40€ for 15 min. The lot around the corner costs 15€/day. There's also a bus station right around the corner, with a 2€ ticket to the center.

Clean and tidy, with friendly staff and parking options in the area. The bed was just regular, and the WiFi was too weak. The room included a TV, cooler, and kitchen equipment. It's a very good hostel close to Porto's city center.

Our apartment had a kitchen, bathroom, small balcony, and bedroom with two single beds pushed together as a double. The air conditioning worked well, and nothing was out of place. It's convenient too, seven minutes from the metro and an easy walk to the Douro and the city's main attractions. The Wi-Fi was unfortunately poor.

The top-floor apartment had a lovely glass front with two windows and a small balcony overlooking gardens and the city. We enjoyed having breakfast or dinner there. The furnishings were attractively simple and made good use of the space. The shower was very spacious, and the kitchenette had more than you'd expect at first. The house is on a quiet residential street, with Rua de Santa Catharina and Praça de Marques easy to reach on foot for shopping, strolling, and browsing. The landlord's arrangements all went smoothly, and check-in with the door code was easy. Cleaning happened twice a week at a pre-arranged time and was always excellent. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches, including the wine and specially tied towels. The accommodation far exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely return to Porto and stay here again!
