We spent almost eight weeks here, and the team was wonderful. They handled any issues quickly and helped make our stay in Porto a lot of fun. The apartment’s location was just right, near interesting sights and the metro, so getting around was easy.

Eduardo showed us around the apartment and was friendly, thorough, and methodical. We also got a complimentary bottle of 'green' wine and some water, plus a practical first aid kit. The stay was comfortable and clean. Breakfast arrived at our doorstep even earlier than promised, which was a nice bonus. São Bento metro and train stations are within walking distance, and there are nearby places to eat if you don’t want to cook.

We could walk to most attractions from here and hardly needed the metro. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, and São Bento station is only about a five-minute walk away. We had an early tour to Duoro Valley, with its meeting point right outside the station, so the location let us sleep a little longer. Our two-bedroom, two-bath apartment was on the third floor, with high ceilings and a full kitchen. There was no elevator, but carrying our luggage up was fine. I was impressed by how spacious and bright it felt. Our two kids slept on the living room sofa bed, and behind the large wooden doors there was a charming little balcony overlooking the inner courtyard. The rooms were clean and nice, and the water pressure was good. Breakfast came in lovely gift bags with individually wrapped bread, muffins, fruit, fruit cups, milk, juice, and more. There was plenty for everyone. We had a great stay and hope to come back someday.

Eduardo, the building manager, was attentive and proactive, and the service from him was very good throughout our stay. The flat is in a perfect spot for Porto’s main attractions, with nicely furnished rooms, a good amount of space, and all the facilities we needed. The breakfast packs, tea and coffee setup, and welcome bottle of local wine were thoughtful touches. We gave it four stars because the soundproofing in our first-floor room wasn’t adequate. We could hear every hallway noise and sometimes sounds from the rooms above, which disturbed our sleep.
