We got lucky with a huge, clean, quiet room, even though the hotel was full. The desk staff were friendly and helpful, and I’d stay here again, especially if I were traveling by train. It’s about a five-minute downhill walk to the train station, where you can catch a train or light rail for a three-minute ride to Sao Bento at the top of the city.

The restaurant was excellent, especially the octopus, and the breakfast buffet was just what I wanted. The staff were wonderful, and the rooms were spacious, bright, and clean. The hotel is a couple of blocks uphill from the train station, which meant my morning walk with suitcases was downhill. Great value too, a traveler’s dream.

We found getting into the center easy with Bolt taxis, which were fast and very cheap. Back at the hotel, the room felt like home, with comfortable beds, a large bathroom, a strong shower, and a mini fridge that kept our water cold. The staff were kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. We stayed three nights and were very happy with it. I’d recommend it for a comfortable, stress-free stay.

The hotel restaurant surprised us, it was really good and served local Portuguese dishes. The rooms were modern, clean, and nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the standard travelers’ buffet, but the quality was good.

We had a great breakfast and an easy walk into downtown. The hotel was nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There’s underground parking, but only a few lucky guests can get a spot.
