Oporto Yellow Villas

We stayed here for São João in 2023, and the hosts couldn’t have been more attentive. They even brought us drinks for the festival. Our apartment had a lovely terrace at the back, and there were supermarkets very close by. Casa da Musica station gives you good transport links, though everything is within a 30 minute walk anyway. The food options at the Bom Succeso were amazing, and Confeitaria Leblon at the bottom of the street had some of the cheapest breakfasts I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend the place highly enough!

The location was fantastic, and our stay at the Yellow Villas was excellent. We were welcomed with a fruit basket, juice, milk, coffee, milk rolls, and even pods for the laundry and dishwasher. We also got lots of useful tips for our time there. The duplex was magnificent, very clean, and beautifully decorated, and the host was so welcoming. I highly recommend it. Thanks for everything!

Alexandra was a huge help when our flight home was cancelled at short notice. She tried to help us find another flight, and when we eventually hired a car and drove five hours through the night to Faro to fly home, she checked in by text during the long drive. She never made us feel like a bother and said we could call her for help whatever the time. Thank you so much, Alexandra! x We had a fabulous three day trip at the end of May. The apartment was clean and well furnished, and we enjoyed having breakfast in the sunshine on the terrace. The water in the fridge, fresh rolls, fruit, dishwasher tablets, and other little touches were much appreciated. When we arrived, the exceptional Alexandra showed us around and marked the best places to visit on a map. What a find! We’d recommend staying here when you visit Porto. You won’t be disappointed!

We were grateful for how flexible Yellow Villa was when our original flight was cancelled. Alexandra also gave us great advice on what to visit, where to eat, and how to get around. It felt like almost having a travel agency ❤️ We stayed five days with our three kids. The apartment was so well equipped that we didn’t miss anything, from the first aid kit for the kids to the kitchen and laundry gear. The whole family appreciated finding milk, wine, and juice in the fridge. We found it a bit noisy, probably because we’re used to a quiet home with no neighbors. I’d definitely recommend Yellow Villa for a stay in Porto.
