I was in Porto for two nights on my way to Santiago de Compostela, and ended up awake all night. Construction was happening right outside, and the excavators were incredibly loud early in the morning. There was no air conditioning, so I couldn't even shut the door. The price is high, there is no elevator, and the stairs to the fourth floor felt like climbing to the seventh floor in Korea. Think carefully before booking a hotel like this.

If I come back to Porto, I'll stay here again. The people were friendly and answered all my questions, and when the showerhead suddenly broke, they came to fix it right away. The apartment was super clean and had everything I needed. I ordered Bolt Foods delivery, cooked ramen, and bought groceries at the supermarket to cook for myself. The location is right across from São Bento Station, visible from the window. Dom Luis Bridge is a 5-10 minute walk away, and Lello Bookstore, Majestic Cafe and Bolhão Market are all within 10 minutes. Best B&B.

Cooking utensils were provided, which was nice. The location is good, but there's no elevator, and don't expect much when it comes to cleanliness.
