Maria and João are such lovely, charismatic people, and this house feels peaceful and full of history. If you enjoy art, architecture, and culture, you could happily stay here for a long time, not just a night or two. We’ll come back when we visit Porto again.

Maria and Júlia made us feel welcome from the start, and the whole weekend at Palacete Museu was wonderful. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, and the place itself is stunning. It’s close to everything but still peaceful and charming. We’d love to return. Muito obrigado!

Maria, the owner, made our stay especially memorable with her kindness, generosity, and discretion. The suite was cleaned every day, and everything felt immaculate, cleaner than my own home. The rooms are spacious and bright, with elegant furniture and beautifully decorated walls. This historic house has been cared for with real pride and style. A lovely place if you’re looking for history, elegance, and warm hospitality.

The location makes it easy to walk to many of Porto’s sights, then step inside and enjoy a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The beautiful interior has plenty of charm, including original paintings in this house built in 1850. Beds were great, and every room had AC and Wifi. Breakfast and service were fantastic, and the hosts made us feel special. I hope to stay here again.

We had such a wonderful time in this charming home and felt at home there. The location is great, and the owners, their daughter Venessa, and everyone else were lovely. Vanessa and Mafalda also gave us restaurant recommendations. Their hospitality was unlike anything I’ve experienced elsewhere in Europe. We’ll stay again when we’re back in Porto, and we’ve made friends who are welcome in our home in Dubai 🙌🏽♥️
