Paraíso do Norte

The place smelled awful, and everything was filthy: floor, bathroom, blankets, pillows, and sheets, all dirty and stained. It looked like none of it had been washed for weeks and that different guests were using it again and again. I booked two rooms, one for my partner and me and one for my mother and daughter. In the end, we all slept on the floor in my room, which apparently had fewer bugs. Both rooms were infested with bedbugs, mosquitoes, fleas, and other insects. They were everywhere, in the blankets, mattresses, and on the floor, even falling from the ceiling. We had a horrible night and couldn’t sleep, just wishing for daylight so we could leave. When we got home, we had to fumigate all our luggage because bugs were in our clothes, and we were covered in bites. The heat was unbearable, too. The bed was very old and creaked just by looking at it. There was no air conditioning, closets, televisions, or basic toiletries in the bathroom. It was the worst experience of my life. I paid €90 for two rooms for one night and only used the floor of one to sleep. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
