The walls are incredibly thin. You don't just hear the neighbors, you get every conversation, alarm, and late night decision in surround sound. Privacy feels more like a suggestion here. Still, the balcony view from our level 4 room over the Porto skyline was beautiful, especially when the city lit up at night. The toilet is separate and outside the room, but walking a few steps to it wasn't really a problem. Porto has over 230,000 people and nearly 2,000 years of history, so maybe the thin walls are one way to feel connected. I'd consider staying again, perhaps, with earplugs and some emotional preparation.

For €1 per bag, we could leave our luggage from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The service was good, and it was a handy, affordable choice for short-term storage.

For the price, I expected more. The mattress had odd stains, the windows were very dirty, and the cleaning felt superficial. Apart from that, it was okay.

A room with a plywood panel instead of a proper door, right by the toilets, made for a miserable night. Light came through the gap, and I heard people peeing, showering, and farting all night. The panel blocked none of the corridor noise either, so every conversation, elevator beep, and suitcase rolling by at 5 AM woke me up. Then loud construction started at 7. I wasn't expecting luxury, but you shouldn't sell a 2x3 m room with no door and zero privacy for 50€! Reception said they couldn't give a discount, so I'm posting here hoping for a discount and a response.

Room no. 44 looked nothing like the photos online, and we didn't stay there. It was partly unclean and smelled of smoke despite being in a non-smoking-classified environment. Most concerning, the shared bathroom had no working toilet, and there were several sizeable patches of MOLD on the walls and ceiling. Booking helped us recover some of the money we'd paid, but the hosts never answered our concerns.
