We enjoyed the comfortable hotel and good breakfast, but the warm welcome stood out most. The lady who greeted us was so pleasant and professional. Thank you, Eva, for making us feel at home.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and breakfast in the morning was good quality. Porto River Infante Hotel is near the Douro River and several landmarks, with the Luiz I Bridge close by. The elevator up to the city is also within walking distance. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and professional. I’d gladly return and highly recommend it.

The hotel is beautiful and breathtaking, and the staff were wonderful and kind. We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the small but just-right breakfast. We already miss it!

Breakfast was a highlight, especially the freshly made eggs. The staff were lovely and made us feel welcome. Our room was airy, tidy, clean, and nicely presented. The hotel is by the bridge, with easy access to both porto and vila de gaia.

I was there in early June, traveling on my own, and felt safe the whole time walking everywhere. The staff were friendly, and I appreciated being able to speak English with them. My room was clean, and the location put me right by the sightseeing areas. Once I’d got a little familiar with town, it was easy to find. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
