I spent 10 days here in January and took surf lessons with Alphonso. He was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely supportive, and helped me feel more confident in the water. Porto Surf School was a fantastic experience, and I'd recommend it without hesitation. The communication before arrival was quick and clear, the rooms and shared spaces were spotless, stylish, and comfortable, and breakfast was fresh and generous every day, just right before heading out to surf. I look forward to coming back.

The house is adorable and in great shape, and the hotel has a stylish feel. The receptionist was lovely, and we had a long chat when we arrived. They accept bank transfers, and they sent an invoice too. There's free parking on the streets. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was such a good part of the day, fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. The surf instructors were patient and fun, and helped everyone improve whatever their level. From the minute I arrived, the lodge felt welcoming and homey. Milena was especially thoughtful and kind. You can tell the whole team cares about giving guests a lovely stay. I can’t recommend Porto Surf Lodge enough, and I’m already looking forward to coming back! 🏄‍♀️☀️💙

I came on my own and left having met some great people. The beds were comfy and the WiFi worked well, so it was easy to enjoy a holiday and get some work done too. I tried their surf lessons and had a great new experience. Getting around Porto by Uber, on foot, and by metro all worked out well. Thanks João and Miss Clara!

The lodge was peaceful, a nice place to rest, and the homemade bread was really good. I came with friends to surf, and the lodge arranged lessons and took us there. It was a fun experience, and everyone was friendly. The place felt fresh and very clean, with a really nice atmosphere. Five stars from me. We’ll definitely be back, thanks!
