The hotel is close to the city center, but I’d choose one of the other nearby places. Our room cost 15€ a night, but the stay wasn’t worth it, and we felt deceived about the missing AC and lack of service. We booked a double room for four nights, but after our flight was postponed, we ended up booking three nights and then a separate night. We paid for the first three on arrival. At 10pm on our second night, a receptionist knocked and told us to come downstairs to pay for the final night. I found that incredibly rude and saw no reason for the urgency. The room had neither AC nor a radiator, which was miserable in January, and it was cold at night. One receptionist gave us an extra blanket as compensation, then smiled and said we were unlucky because ours was the only room without AC and a radiator. When I asked another receptionist the next day about changing rooms, he showed no understanding or willingness to help. It felt like no one cared about guests’ well-being. The missing radiator wasn’t mentioned online, while the website said rooms had AC. Our room also didn’t match the website photo: there were no windows, just a little shaft leading to the hallway. When we asked to speak to the manager, we were told that wasn’t possible. I’ve never heard anything so ridiculous at a hotel. By then, the room’s poor cleanliness and stains on the blanket were the least of our concerns.
