Rian - central 2 bedroom Apartment in Porto

The location is just about perfect, and both breakfast and the staff were fantastic. The hotel has been lovingly furnished with thoughtfully chosen antiques. One small idea for the owners: a fan in the room would be great.

We had a great three-night stay, and the staff were very friendly. Isabela did a fantastic job with the lovely breakfast. The walls between rooms are a little thin, and the wooden floor makes noise, but it’s an old building and we liked it a lot.

We loved Porto and enjoyed this tucked-away spot in an unspoiled neighborhood. Our balcony looked onto the garden, and the room had a fantastic shower, a comfy bed, and good Wi-Fi. Breakfast was great, too. The host spoke perfect English and shared useful tips. You can borrow bikes, though we were only there for two nights and didn’t use them. Casa Carolina is uphill from the historic port area.

The room and en-suite bathroom were very clean, with a really good shower. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff helped us with things like getting taxis. It’s a traditional guesthouse in a convenient spot, close enough to walk to restaurants and attractions. I’d gladly stay again.
