That little garden feels like a quiet, leafy hideaway even though you’re right in the middle of Porto. The stylish rooms also have a real at-home feel. We arrived a bit early, and although an early check-in wasn’t possible, the staff offered us breakfast instead. Such a thoughtful start to our stay. The people there were the best part. Everyone we met was warm and engaging, and their kindness felt sincere, never rehearsed. Two nights went by too fast. Highly recommended!

We weren’t staying at the hotel, just dropped in on a whim for a spa afternoon. They found us a massage appointment within 45 minutes, and we both loved the treatment. Everyone made us feel welcome. Afterwards we had a lovely, relaxing time with cold tea in the garden by the pool.

The bed was easily the most comfortable we’ve had in a hotel, and the room was spotless. You can tell the hotel takes cleanliness seriously. Once we were inside, the soundproofing blocked everything out, which made it incredibly restful. Saboaria feels like a calm little oasis away from the busy city. The staff stayed attentive and helped with anything we needed. The pool, jacuzzi, and steam room were all available whenever we wanted to use them. We’ll definitely be back.

Thiago deserves a special mention, though honestly everyone was lovely. The staff were the nicest I’ve come across at a hotel, welcoming and full of helpful local knowledge without pushing an itinerary on us. When we got engaged during our stay, they kindly upgraded us for free and gave us some port wine. The hotel had everything we wanted. Highly recommend.
