The room had an elevator, and there’s a place to leave luggage after checkout if you still want to explore the city. Just let the owner know, since the entry code gets changed. Breakfast was good, and the place is close to the city centre. Our room faced the main road, though, and there was also a nearby building under renovation. The noise from both was considerable.

Breakfast came to the room in a wooden box, which was a nice touch. It was a good continental spread: pastries, jam, Nutella, fruit, a little scrambled egg, and a slice of cheese and ham for each person. The coffee was fresh, with milk and drinks for the children too. The apartments look just like the photos. The mattress was very comfortable, and it’s a short walk to the centre and the metro. The kitchen could use a few more items.

We found bedbugs in the bed and left after the first night because nobody was at reception. When we complained the next day, the receptionist, who didn’t speak English very well, promised a full refund for the whole stay. In the end, we only got a partial refund for the first night, and that was after contacting Bookin.com.

We arrived late at night to a comfortable room with the air conditioning already on. It was clean, cozy, and looked nice. The street has lots of shops just a few minutes away, and Mercado do Bolhão is nearby, a must go. They provided coffee and bottled water, and the towels were changed daily. I honestly have no complaints. This could easily be my place in Oporto 🙂

We keep coming back whenever we visit Porto. The location is fantastic, and the staff are wonderful and always very helpful.
