We wished we’d stayed longer. The place is gorgeous, beautifully renovated, stylish while keeping the original facade, clean, and well maintained. Sandra & Sebastiano were amazing hosts, warm, efficient, and knowledgeable. They helped us a lot with getting around Porto and Portugal. And the food was amazing.

They offered me a voucher after I couldn’t use my reservation because of covid, then stopped replying. In my opinion, they’re liars. Don’t go there if they even still exist!

The breakfast was a real highlight, with homemade food, Portuguese pastries, seasonal fruit, fresh orange juice, viennoiseries, breads and brioches. The host was incredibly kind and attentive, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The decor felt stylish, with every detail carefully chosen, and the terrace was lovely in good weather. Porto’s whole city center is within easy walking distance, though the walk back is a little uphill. A fantastic place to stay.

The hosts were so warm and friendly, always ready to help. We got a lovely welcome and were offered a glass of port right away. The whole house and our rooms were very clean, and breakfast was plentiful and really good. We had a wonderful three-night stay.

Five days before we were due to arrive, they told us they’d overbooked and cancelled our reservation. We’d booked and had confirmation more than four months earlier for our tour of Portugal. Really disappointing and embarrassing!
