Thyme House Porto

A great apartment with private parking, very comfortable and equipped with good amenities. The owners were kind, polite and helpful.

Everything was perfect and clean. The service and breakfast were fine.

Parking is right in front of the apartment, and the price felt like excellent value. Everything was clean, nicely decorated, and furnished with new pieces. The metro entrance is only two meters away, with easy connections to central Porto. Mira was very attentive, leaving plenty of breakfast basics for six people, including muffins, milk, Nespresso, and Nesquik, along with mineral water and port wine. She also has city maps and is happy to explain them if you want. The only downside is the second-floor walk-up, though there aren't many stairs.

There's plenty of space, and the apartment is close to Combattante metro station. But the sheet was dirty and had hair on it, so we doubt it had been changed. Two of the towels seemed questionable, and some kitchen equipment was missing: knives, forks, and teaspoons. One plate was chipped. The starter kit had two expired coffee capsules that had gone hard, and the espresso machine was broken. You'll have to decide whether you want to risk renting it.
