Estela Surf & Hostel

The place was clean and cozy, with a relaxed, fun atmosphere among the guests and staff. Each day was a great balance of surfing, unwinding and being out in nature. Raquel and Marco were fantastic, and the instructors were friendly, patient and knew how to guide and motivate people at every level. Marshall especially was always cheerful, laughing and joking, and such a kind person. He’s the best. I left feeling happier, stronger and inspired to keep surfing. I can’t wait to return, and would highly recommend it for an authentic surf experience in Portugal.

Estela Surf & Hostel had a really welcoming, laid-back feel and was a cozy place near the beach for surfers and travelers. The house was beautifully decorated, clean and had everything we needed. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, so we felt at home as soon as we arrived. Surf lessons were well organized and worked for beginners and experienced surfers alike. After time in the waves, it was a great place to relax and get to know other guests. Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

Rachel and her family made us feel so welcome, and they were lovely throughout our first visit to Estela Surf & Hostel. They patiently answered all our questions and gave us good tips about where to go. The surf lessons were really good too. Our instructors looked after us, especially Marshall, and we learned a lot. It was a perfect holiday, and we’d definitely recommend the place. We’ll be back.

I had a wonderful time here. Surf lessons were amazing, and I improved my skills a lot. The rooms were all very clean, and the garden was a nice spot to relax. Breakfast was great, and the bar and kitchen area was fun for hanging out or cooking with the sound system on. Raquel and Marco were both so kind and helpful. Best place ever.
