The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is spacious, towels are free, and cleanliness is well maintained. WiFi is decent. There's a shared kitchen where you can cook, with free coffee, plus a common area by reception with books and a TV. The hostel is right by the port, literally one minute from the beach. The hostess goes the extra mile with service, and I can't give the hostel less than the maximum. Excellent price for the value, absolutely recommended! A couple of things could be better: there aren't enough pots in the kitchen, and there are no sockets next to the beds.

I spent most of my days out, so coming back to a clean, comfortable room at such a low price was just what I needed. Check-in and checkout were really simple. Royal Beach Hostel doesn't have many extras, like big outdoor common areas, but it had everything I needed. I'd definitely recommend it and stay again if I'm back in Praia.

A few steps from the beach and bars, yet tucked away somewhere peaceful. The hostel was cute and clean, the staff were super friendly, and it was great value for the money. Loved it!

The reception staff were the real highlight: always smiling, kind, and understanding. The place itself is clean and cozy, with a well-equipped kitchenette and a nicely decorated kitchen that opens onto a lovely terrace. They even offer free coffee and tea. It sits by a quiet beach and a restaurant, and I think it may be the best hostel in the whole Azores. It's definitely my favorite, and I want to come back. Wholeheartedly recommend it!

A tidy, welcoming place with helpful, friendly staff. The beach is a minute away, as is the long stretch of restaurants along the local Marina front. Check-in and checkout were easy, and the location in Praia da Vitoria was spot on. Tons of juice for the squeeze. Well worth the €£$!
