There were two cockroaches in the apartment, and it felt damp and humid throughout. Mold was inside most of the kitchen cabinets and on utensils and pans. Construction outside the house also partly blocks the view of Pico. I can't recommend it unless a deep cleaning has been done.

We were given a very warm welcome, including Faial specialties. The house was clean, new, and perfect, and the rental's location was superb: close to the beach and three bars/restaurants, with an extraordinary view of Pico.
