Apartamentos Carteia

A very bad experience. The pictures on the website didn’t match the apartment we got. When I commented on the site, they replied that I was an unhappy person. Their response left me feeling uncomfortable and unhappy, because I felt they had lied about the apartment’s quality. The pictures I posted on their website never appeared, so I’m showing them here too. We paid 2500 euros for 17 days. On the first day, we asked to move to another apartment, but they said no. The toilet was absolutely terrible. Zoom in on the picture to see the condition. We’ll never go back, and I strongly recommend against renting an apartment there because, in my experience, they’re professionals at lying.

The room is clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything you need: a washing machine, oven with hob, microwave, toaster, and a large fridge. The location is perfect, right by the beach, with a pool as well. There’s a supermarket five minutes away on foot, plus lots of restaurants and bars.

I really liked the facilities, especially the swimming pool, washing machine, and fully equipped kitchen. The staff were genuinely friendly, too. The location is at the far end of the city, though, and there was ongoing painting work on the balcony. It was uncomfortable waking up to find someone out there. We were given only two rolls of tissue, and the bed wasn't made.

Carteia Apartamento Leste is fairly priced and in a handy spot near both the beach and a supermarket. The kitchen was great and the bed was comfortable, though the bathroom is quite small. The building itself is old, and there's no AC, so it could get too hot in July or August.
