It's lovely waking up to birdsong in this peaceful setting, with a beautiful garden. The guesthouse is spotless, the beds are wonderfully comfortable, and there's a kitchen if you want to cook. You can also arrange breakfast or dinner. I'd suggest trying dinner at least once for the delicious traditional dishes. The whole family is warm and helpful, giving you a personal welcome and being there whenever you need them. It's also well placed for the area's best hikes and activities, and they share tips for quiet, lovely spots. Thanks for making such a welcoming place. We'd love to return.

Os Mano's was the first place on our Madeira trip with a genuinely useful, comprehensive list of places to go. Nathan's tips all worked out brilliantly, including the go-to spots he suggested. He's an incredibly good host: friendly and kind, always happy to offer help, but never pushy about chatting. It felt like having someone around who could become a friend. The rest of the team felt like family to us too. Definitely recommend staying here!

The shared areas made it easy to unwind, with a big cosy living room, pool, darts, fireplace, kitchen, and bar. My room was clean and had everything I needed. From arrival, the welcome at Os Manos in Santana felt warm and genuine, almost like joining a family. They also gave great hiking suggestions, and it's a handy starting point for nearby trails. Highly recommended for a friendly place in a good location.

It's a little outside the town centre, so you'll probably want a car, but it's quiet and peaceful there. The family who run it are very friendly, and the traditional building is lovely. Rooms are decent for the price, with a well-equipped kitchen, pool table, and dartboard. The beds were amazing, and I finally got a proper night's sleep. Nathan also has great walking suggestions. The cave walk was fantastic and isn't on the other lists I saw.

We were really glad my friend and I chose Os Manos. Everyone was kind and helpful, and Nathan especially took great care of us. When I got sick, he even went to the pharmacy to get me medicine. We really appreciated the hospitality.
