Susan, the owner, was amazing and made us feel so welcome. We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful, quiet, peaceful location. The donkeys and pony were an added treat, and the hot tub was just right on a cold winter night. We were so pleased with our visit and will definitely return in summer.

The room was spacious and practical, and breakfast was fresh, tasty, and made with local ingredients. We loved meeting the animals in such a peaceful setting. The owners are lovely and very helpful. If I'm being picky, the bed could be bigger and softer, and the pool cleaner, but those were small things in an otherwise lovely stay.

The breakfast was delicious, and we really enjoyed our stay. Suzanne, the owner, is so friendly and attentive to all her guests. Our 13-year-old daughter loved the animals, and on our last day we got to go along with Suzanne while she fed them. The grounds around the house are beautiful, and the house and rooms are charmingly decorated. We also loved the swimming pool.

The rooms are stylishly decorated, and the outdoor area feels like another world, with space to lounge by the pool or wander around the animal enclosures. You can tell everything is done with love and care. The views are amazing, with Monsaraz on one side and the rural Alentejo stretching towards Spain on the other. It's a fantastic place run by a lovely couple. We'll know where to go next time we want to get away to Alentejo.

This was our third time here, and we'll definitely be back. The rooms are comfortable, breakfast is good, the grounds are well cared for, and the pool is clean. The owners are exceptionally friendly.
