We had the whole house to ourselves as a group, so I can’t say what sharing it with strangers would be like. The place was very clean, and I stayed in the master room on the third floor, #5. It was lovely, with stunning ocean views from the bathroom window. There’s laundry and all the amenities we needed. The house is right beside a historic church; climbing its steps gives you a view over the whole town and ocean. The beach and local restaurants are a short walk away. We also walked to the sister hotel, Volcanic Charming House, for breakfast each morning, and it was very good.

The rooms were spacious and clean, with all the amenities, and the kitchen was well equipped. There was even a washer and dryer. The staff were super friendly, and the property is beautiful and well located.

I had a really pleasant four-day stay. You can hear people walking around upstairs quite clearly, though it didn’t bother me. One small suggestion: dispensers in the shower and by the sink would be better, since the single-use portions are tiny. If, like me, you travel without luggage, you have to buy everything. At this price, I think dispensers could be provided. Still, I’d recommend the place. The location is excellent and parking is easy.

We slept in the upstairs room, which looks out toward the ocean, and everything was within walking distance. The staff were welcoming and very nice. The bed was really comfortable, the white linens were comfy, and the house looks great with its wooden floors. The kitchen had everything we needed, right down to salt. I can only recommend this place.

My favorite place to stay in Sao Miguel so far. The room was huge and comfortable, and our patio looked onto the grand plaza and church. Ask for this room! Check-in was easy and the staff were so nice. The kitchen, bathrooms, and everything else looked brand new and stylish. The rooms can get hot during the day, though; air conditioning would be a nice addition. Free parking is a five-minute walk away.
