Peter and Zita were wonderful hosts, kind and thoughtful in a way I won't forget. They met us when we arrived at 1:00 am and even arranged a wheelchair to help me get around with my broken leg. We stayed in the quiet, street-level one-bedroom apartment and slept very well in the comfortable bed with good linens and towels. It had everything we needed and was cleaned regularly. The backyard is the standout, beautifully landscaped, with a sitting area, tables, and a BBQ. Ribeira Grande is away from the touristy areas, so you're among locals, with plenty of good restaurants and grocery stores nearby. It's a beautiful property, and I highly recommend it.

We've stayed here twice now and love it. After a day touring, we like sitting outside in the beautiful gardens. The grounds are lovely, and the central location makes it easy to get around the island. The accommodations are spotless and spacious, with really comfortable beds. Zita and Peter are kind, helpful hosts, and the place feels like home. We'll definitely return.
