Waking up to that breathtaking view made the whole visit unforgettable. Breakfast was fresh, generous, and thoughtfully put together, so mornings became a real highlight. The rooms were beautifully designed, with lovely attention to detail, and the hotel was more comfortable than we expected. Service was warm, attentive, and professional from beginning to end. A flawless five-star experience. We can't wait to return.

The restaurant was fantastic, with an outstanding dinner and absolutely delicious cakes. I would consider staying again, though I'd probably choose a different room category. The property itself is beautiful and charming, and breakfast is prepared with care. I prefer it to a buffet, and there was still plenty to choose from. I found it hard to give four stars instead of five, but we did have some problems. We booked a room with two beds because no smaller room was available, and one bed was barely usable because of a strong sewage smell. The whirlpool wasn't clean when we arrived, though the staff dealt with it the next day after we reported it. On another day, the air conditioning was changed in our room while we were out on an excursion, without anyone telling us first. Finding strangers in the room felt unsettling, and the timing was inconvenient because we planned to shower and go out right after hiking. Staff apologized, but we didn't feel our concerns had really been addressed.

Breakfast was good, as were the kitchen staff and servers, and the view was nice. Beyond that, the front desk and the rest of the stay left us underwhelmed. It felt overpriced and didn't deliver, and I'd suggest staying elsewhere. We'd booked for our honeymoon, but it wasn't the experience we'd hoped for. They offered complimentary champagne, then left it beside snacks that we assumed were included too. There was no price list or sign saying those snacks cost extra. After we ate them, we were asked to pay. When we explained there hadn't been any indication of a charge, they apologized. It may sound small, but it affected the experience. When I felt unwell and needed a quiet ride to our room, we were told to wait another 20 minutes even though the golf cart was parked outside the hotel. The air conditioning also broke down for a day and a half and couldn't be fixed. They gave us a fan, but it was very noisy and disturbed our sleep. These small issues added up.

I had so many quiet places around the property to be alone with my thoughts, even though the hotel was fully booked. The food was excellent and the drinks were wonderful. The location, surrounded by stunning natural scenery, was outstanding, and my villa was perfect. Each morning at 5 a.m. I went to work out in the wellness area. The staff always said it was fine and arranged for security to open it for me. They were exceptionally kind, attentive, helpful, spoke excellent English, and went out of their way to meet every request. This was one of the best rest and recharge experiences of my life. I can only praise the stay, and I'm sure I'll return at least once a year, maybe twice or more if I can. Thank you, Santa Barbara Eco Beach Hotel, for an unforgettable experience.
