The person who welcomed us was very friendly and gave us suggestions for what to see in the Azores. The apartment is spacious, in a quiet spot near the entrance to Ribeira Grande and close to the mainland. But the double bed was terrible. The mattress is old and sagging on both sides, so neither of us could sleep on it. The bathroom needs some work too: the toilet flush button didn't work properly, and there was rust in the bathtub. Finding dirty kitchenware was unpleasant as well.
