Carya Tallaya - Casas de Campo

We spent a week here and everything went smoothly. Breakfast was generous and just right. Sandra was so friendly and helpful, especially with our child who can’t have gluten or milk. They thoughtfully prepared alternatives, and even shared vegetables from their large garden. One of the men also brought the ponies over so our children could meet them. Thanks to the whole team for a five-star stay. We’d definitely come back.

The area has lots of interesting places to see and walking routes, and we’ll certainly return. The house was clean, spacious, well organized, and so welcoming that we felt at home. It’s set among trees in a wonderfully quiet spot, with birdsong and the village church bell the only sounds we heard. Sr.ª Natália, the owner, and Sr.ª Sandra were both exceptionally kind. Each morning, a basket of delicious local fresh food and little treats was left by the door. We’ve already recommended it to friends and family. A lovely place to unwind with family or otherwise. Alojamento Rural Top.

The pool is fantastic, and the staff were lovely. Sandra was especially sweet, and we even got to speak Portuguese together. The room is enormous, beautifully styled, and so well equipped, with a kitchen and a large bathroom. It’s the kind of place where you can switch off as soon as you arrive. I’ll definitely be back.

The hosts are really attentive, and Sandra was always ready to help. The houses are lovely, and the pool is just what you need on a hot summer day, especially after a day out discovering another castle or two in the region. A great spot for a few restful days.
